What Can I Do With My Personalised Mug?

You mean in addition to drinking tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soup, herbal tea, rooibos, chicory or chai?

You can use mugs for all sorts of daring and innovative things!

Storage

Mugs make great containers for small items that need to be easily accessible.

  • Pens and pencils, scissors and tape dispensers, small staplers and other office necessities.
  • Small change and/or keys.
  • Craft supplies - brushes, glue sticks, scissors, Popsicle sticks or pipe cleaners.
  • Bathroom supplies - toothbrushes, razors and combs.
  • Handyman supplies - nails, nuts, bolts and other fasteners.
  • Coffee room supplies - coffee packets, sweetener packets and teabags.
  • Sweets or nuts.

Planters

Fill the bottom third with pebbles, to allow drainage, then fill up other third with soil. Plant your plant, and top up with soil to the surface.

You can grow many small plants this way. Why not make yourself a coffee mug herb garden?

  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

Candle Holder

If you're a coffee lover, one of the easiest ways to make a scented candle is to fill a mug nearly to the top with coffee beans. Half-bury a tealight candle in the beans. Once the beans heat up, the delightful smell of coffee will fill your room. You can vary the scent by using different types of flavoured bean.
